I understand the art as a vehicle to enter in contact with other realities, generating a communication beyond borders and language codes that introduces the individual in new imaginaries.
Born in Madrid 1988, she is graduated in Fine Arts from the FBA of Cuenca 2011, enjoyed grant exchange programs with Portugal, México, France, Ireland and Luxembourg and studied Piano and composition at the School of Music of Pozuelo de Alarcon (Madrid).
Her work is based on the relationship created between the internal and the external, finding a particular interest in generating layers of information and hybrid characters; through drawing, collage, painting, installation and sound compositions, introduces her experiences in a game of construction and deconstruction of meanings, questioning the space we inhabit and our perceptions, as well as the human-animal-nature relationships.

The Other People series.
In some previous works I´ve been developing the concept of duality in our selves, creating mythological like figures, compose with parts from different identities.
This way, the residency at Fennellys gave me the opportunity to experiment with drawing and etching, linking this search for hybrid characters with some Irish colloquial history, tales, songs and myths, specially from Callan and Kilkenny, giving birth to The Other People series, my own amalgamation of different bits of information from Irish folklore. This is still a growing project where such a rich cultural background is inspiring new works.
