My Biography

Following an eclectic range of studies including product and graphic design as well as fine art, I became a freelance illustrator and designer, working for a broad range of arts-based organisations, whilst developing my practice and exhibiting work extensively. I placed emphasis firmly on my art practice with a move to East Street Arts Patrick Studios in Leeds.

In addition to using photography, mixed media, digital and oil painting, I work with moving image and sound, creating projects in many different formats and settings, exploring the way visuals and light work outside the confines of conventional projection spaces and surfaces and how random and deliberate interactions can combine to create new ways of seeing. My output includes video and animation; large-scale sound and vision installations; live video projections; projection mapping; short films. This work in turn feeds back in to my wall-based pieces.
