Born in Florence (Italy) where she lives and works. Graduated in Greek Ancient History ,at the Florence's University and in Painting and Etching from the Academy of Fine Arts of her hometown.
Her goal has been always to reach lightness and transparency through every different materials. From the1990s she started to use in her works the polymers (PVC and plexiglass). In 1997 she was requested from the critic Amnon Barzel to partecipate at the Targetti Art Collection for which she has realized two works , “Boboli”and “Movie-Movie”with plexiglas and light. From this time on she works mainly with the technology of light in large installations so far in the small sculptures. Among her most recent exhibitions “Diafano “ - Museo Marino Marini , Florence (2003), “Where does do the pink little bike”? , Secondome, Rome (2006).Her most recent group exhibition “Per Isabella” Villa Medicea di Cerreto Guidi (2009), MUAR , Moscow (2006) , “Mehr licht”, MAK, Wien (2004), Chelsea Art Museum , New York (2003).
In 2013 “S-tre-s” a group exhibition in Patrizia Pepe Contemporary Art Collection in Prato and in Rome at Museo Canonica at Villa Borghese in “Dietro lo specchio” she exhibited two large installation in plexiglas and acetate.
Actually she is working at two artist's book on paper.
