I studied Access to Art and Design at Leeds College of Art from 2012-2014 and am currently about to complete my second year of a four year B.A. in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins. My current focus is abstract sculpture and performance art.
My work possess elements of intimacy and fragility, are deeply personal, often ask for, or rely upon audience interaction, and are exercises in abstract auto-expression. My drive is to seek-out my own peculiar sense of the sublime – especially that which is unusual or hard to find - and to uncover and celebrate beauty that is found in the most unexpected of places. The pursuit and analysis of the sublime and what I refer to as ‘Broken Beauty’ are central, recurring themes.
