"Faust II" is a work produced in the context of the multi-national exhibition "Carmo, Chiado, and the Apparitions of Faust: Transfigurations of a Myth in the Arts and the Public Sphere".
This print is an example of a recent, rare technique, named wood-lithography, or "mokulito". There are very few recorded examples of its use, due to the high degree of difficulty, and the limited editions that result from the process.
