“ESPANSIONE” Is an artwork made with the engraving technique of aquatint and etching, on a zinc plate. It is one of the largest in size realized by the artist. The work is composed of a series of cubes placed in central perspective, which dissolve into the depth of black. The disappearance of the elements generates a misunderstanding of the genesis and the term of the solids. These are characterized by a geometric structure, which however expresses a deep fragility thanks to craquelè, a technique that Marco Poma often uses for his works.
