my new painting entitled Rumination, This wise and old lady is deep in thought and there is no rush as she has time on her hands to compulsively focus attention on the symptoms of one's distress, and on its possible causes and consequences, as opposed to its solutions". I selected her as my new muse to use new techniques I had gathered on my travels seeing new works and speaking to artists & exhibitions I had attended. These techniques include using cling film method and using resin in certain portions of the canvas. I have also incorporated using Swarovski Crystals on her necklace. Age is something to be prized as these wonderful beings have gathered wisdom that can only be done by living in the moment and learning from their mistakes..I believe this to be true There are no wise young people, there are all dead, there are only wise old people and the fact that there alive is testament to their wisdom and age.
